With over 20 years of logging experience, we can help you with all of your logging needs. We are specialized in ground-based logging, but have a network of resources for your steep slope logging needs. We work with landowners of all sizes: from under an acre to millions of acres. We provide full-service logging from thinning to clearcuts. We can also help you with management decisions and ensuring all Oregon Forest Practice Laws & Rules are met.
Brush Mowing/Masticating
From blackberries to small trees.
You keep your lawn mowed and your garden weeded. Let us help you with those larger areas of limbs, vines, dead foliage, and woody vegetation. Brush mowing is not only aesthetically pleasing, it also creates defensible space in the event of fire, adds usable square footage to your property and value to your home. In addition, brush mowing can keep invasive species such as Scotch Broom in check. Our excavator mounted brushing head can mow every inch of your property.
Land Clearing
Stump, vegetation, and debris removal.
Land clearing can be done for a variety of reasons, including land use changes and land improvements. Prep and smooth your land to get it ready for its next purpose. After logging or mowing has occurred, we can remove stumps and other vegetation, leaving the area cleared and ready for replanting, building, or other uses.
Forestry Site Prep
Site preparation through brush piling.
Site prep can occur after logging or land clearing. Site prep is a common practice used to facilitate the establishment of a desirable future stand of trees. This involves piling of the limbs and woody debris and preparing them to burn. The end objective is to create an area that is suitable for planting seedlings and allowing them space to grow. If needed, we can also help you in locating seedlings for replanting.
Road Consruction
New construction or repair of existing.
We build forest roads. We are also experienced in road stabilization and road repair. We understand road drainage and can work with you on the best drainage solutions for your project. We can help you to determine if you should leave a road dirt or invest in rocking it, as we know investing in ballast is a commitment. At this time, we are unable to provide paving services, but can help you find a contractor for paving.
